Michelle was elected as the State Assemblywoman for Subang Jaya in 2018. At 28 years old, she was the youngest elected representative in the 14th Selangor State Assembly. Michelle also served as Chair of the Select Committee on Water Resource, and was thus the only woman Chair of a Select Committee that term.
